(University of L'Aquila)的科學家揚尼尼(Emmanuele Jannini)透過對二十名婦女進行超聲波掃描，從而找出G點的位置。在參與實驗的二十名婦女 Slave ，其中九個人說他們有過陰道性高潮的經驗 t十一個人說他們沒有高潮的經驗。揚尼尼通過對婦女的陰道和尿道掃描後發現，有陰道性高潮經驗的婦人尿道和陰道之間的組織比較厚。揚尼尼說，今後應該可以用超音波檢查來研判婦女會不會有陰道性高潮[3]。
